Requirements

  • Michigan Electrical Master license
  • Clean driving record and valid driving license

  • This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations.
  • This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  • This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • The position also requires the ability to read blueprints, extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, the ability to use hand tools and power tools, proficiency in the use of test meters and diagnostic equipment.
  • This position requires a minimum three (3) years of previous electrical experience and the completion of a formal apprenticeship.
  • Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical equipment such as generators, panels, and car chargers
  • Oversee the Electricians and determine training or coaching needed
  • Work with Management team to ensure inventory needs are met
  • Estimate Electrical upgrades
  • Oversee the schedule to ensure jobs are completed as estimated
  • Clearly communicate job expectations to electricians as needed
  • Run wire and connect to generators, condensing units and boilers
  • Run new wire in retrofit situations
  • Update miscellaneous wiring, switch plate, recessed lighting and outlets
  • Evaluate homes and offices for electrical safety and make safety recommendations to clients as needed
  • Establish trust and rapport with clients
  • Use electrical formulas to determine pipe fill, device, panel size and disconnect
  • Operate in a professional manner
  • Lead by example and Maintain a clean and organized jobsite, work area and well inventoried truck
