About The Position

The Residential Operations Manager supports the Residential and Real Estate Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of privately owned residences and rental homes, with a strong focus on coordination, quality control, and homeowner experience. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure residences consistently meet established cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards for owner stays and rental guests. Serving as a hands-on point of contact, the Assistant Residential Manager helps coordinate homeowner arrivals and departures, itineraries, tee times, dining arrangements, and on-property requests. The role also supports oversight of housekeeping, landscaping, and maintenance performance through walkthroughs, documentation, and follow-through, escalating sensitive, contractual, or financial matters as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Two to four years of experience in hospitality, residential management, property operations, or a related field, ideally in a resort, hotel, or luxury residential environment with high service expectations.
  • Experience supporting homeowners or guests in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on service quality and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent documentation and follow-through.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to know when to escalate sensitive, contractual, or financial matters.
  • Experience coordinating housekeeping standards, property inspections, walkthroughs, quality control processes, and corrective actions.
  • Working knowledge of basic property maintenance coordination, vendor scheduling, and cross-department collaboration.
  • Experience coordinating itineraries, reservations, and logistics, including tee times, dining arrangements, transportation, pre-arrival setup, and special requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning internal systems, including scheduling or reservation platforms.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and responsive in time-sensitive situations, working both independently and under direction.
  • Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Flexibility to support homeowner arrivals, departures, and on-property needs as business demands require.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate documentation related to maintenance activity, inspections, owner communications, itineraries, and operational records.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Landscaping, Reservations, Golf Operations, Front Desk teams, and third-party vendors to coordinate daily residential operations and resolve service needs.
  • Assist in maintaining and following standard operating procedures related to residential operations, housekeeping standards, and owner services.
  • Monitor housekeeping performance and overall property condition through inspections and walkthroughs, documenting issues and tracking corrective actions to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met.
  • Support consistent residential operations through the use of standard procedures, checklists, and service guidelines.
  • Participate in revenue management discussions to support occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with homeowners through responsive, service-focused communication.
  • Serve as a point of contact for routine homeowner inquiries, service requests, and punch lists, escalating sensitive, contractual, or financial matters as appropriate.
  • Support homeowner arrivals and departures by coordinating access and serving as an on-property contact during stays.
  • Coordinate on-property requests during stays, including service scheduling, dining adjustments, and amenity support.
  • Assist with tee time coordination, including adjustments, additions, and follow-ups to ensure accuracy across reservations and owner itineraries.
  • Proactively communicate with homeowners prior to arrival to confirm itineraries, dining reservations, transportation needs, and in-home setup preferences.
  • Prepare, update, and distribute homeowner itineraries in collaboration with Reservations and other internal departments.
  • Support special projects, seasonal initiatives, and event-related property coordination as directed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Residential team and its initiatives.
