The Housing Authority of Paducah is looking for motivated individuals to join our Maintenance Division as General Laborers / Maintenance Technicians. Requirements

Ability to work indoors and outdoors
Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and work in confined spaces
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
Exposure to construction-related environmental conditions
Exposure to moderate construction-related risks
Mechanical, electrical, chemical, and environmental hazards
Use of required safety gear and protective equipment
Seasonal appointment not to exceed nine (9) months
May require alternate schedules or emergency response
Work performed under general supervision

Responsibilities

Sweeping, mopping, and clearing debris to prep units for restoration.
Lending a hand with fixing fixtures, appliances, drywall, and other surfaces.
Keeping our tools, materials, and work vehicles organized and ready to go.
Safely loading, unloading, and transporting supplies and equipment to and from job sites.
Handling tasks like changing light bulbs, hanging blinds, replacing outlet covers, and installing basic hardware.
Always wearing proper safety gear (PPE) and following safety protocols.
Working alongside experienced technicians and supervisors who are committed to training you.
