The Resolutions Representative supports all of our departments in our single billing office. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of related experience/training (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Knowledge of office software and medical billing software
  • Professional, polite, and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to work well with others in a close office setting
  • Strong focus and ability to concentrate for extended periods
  • Team-oriented, cooperative, and adaptable
  • Able to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with patients or guarantors via telephone, AdventHealth's Everywhere portal, or email to thoroughly understand and resolve the patient’s dispute, complaint, or discrepancy to their satisfaction, and obtain any additional documentation needed for account resolution.
  • Record all pertinent information in the relevant systems.
  • Update and verify new insurance information when provided by the patient or guarantor.
  • Review and research questionable accounts or issues with Practice Management, Department Manager, or floor supervisor as necessary.
  • Communicate account questions or issues to practice management through the work queue when needed, ensuring the communication is accurate and detailed for management review.
  • Perform other requested tasks as needed.
