About The Position

Maintains grounds of all industrial, commercial, or public hotel property by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree, preferably with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
• Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.

Responsibilities

• Cuts lawns and operated a mulching mower
• Trims edges, and weeds around walks, flower beds, and walls
• Prunes roses, shrubs, and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
• Sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides
• Rake and bag leaves
• Cleans grounds and remove litter
• Shovels snow from walks and driveways
• Spreads ice melt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup
• Plants grass, trees, and shrubs
• Water lawns, shrubs, and trees
• Rototill new sod areas
• Plant knowledge
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
