About The Position

To process borrowing and lending requests for the Resource Sharing office in Rolvaag Library.

Requirements

• Current St. Olaf student
• Must be adept at using computing technology (hardware and software)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow detailed processes and written instructions
• Problem-solving
• Communication

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use our Library Management System to process Resource Sharing requests for both lending and borrowing
• Search library catalog to determine availability of items
• Search web to research citations
• Retrieve materials from library stacks
• Prepare borrowed items for hold shelf and process their return
• Package physical items for courier or mail
• Scan and send electronic documents using Adobe Acrobat and our Library Management System
• Other tasks as assigned
