About The Position

St. Frances Cabrini Academy is seeking a dedicated and mission‑driven Resource Teacher to support students through targeted academic interventions and skill development. Position OverviewThe Resource Teacher works closely with classroom teachers to provide small‑group and individualized instruction that supports academic growth across subject areas. Services may be delivered through pull‑out instruction, push‑in support, or a combination of both, depending on student needs. The teacher will play an essential role in helping students strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and achieve success in their coursework.

Requirements

• State teaching certification required; certification in Special Education, Reading, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting students who require academic interventions or differentiated instruction is highly valued.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with children from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
• Ability to deliver effective instruction in both push‑in and pull‑out settings.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.

Responsibilities

• Provide small‑group and in‑class (push‑in) academic support for students with identified learning needs.
• Deliver targeted lessons that reinforce reading, math, and other core academic skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with grade‑level curriculum.
• Assess student performance and adjust instruction based on progress and individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress monitoring, and instructional plans.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student growth.
• Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment that celebrates student strengths.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school community events.
