About The Position

This position supports patient care by performing a variety of diagnostic cardiac and respiratory procedures, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining safe, efficient processing of equipment and supplies. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility in scheduling, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Mechanical aptitude for working with medical devices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to:
• Work under the direction of the RCA Supervisor and ALP
• Function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Provide care to patients of all ages and developmental levels
• Work with patients experiencing acute, chronic, complex, or terminal conditions
• Positive, professional attitude toward:
• Healthcare team members
• Diverse patient populations
• Demonstrated good physical and emotional health

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an EKG course preferred
• Experience performing:
• EKGs
• 24-hour Holter and event monitoring (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures, including:
• Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG)
• Pulse oximetry
• Rhythm strips
• 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups
• Assist with stress testing procedures
• Process and maintain respiratory equipment as needed
• Complete and process job-related paperwork accurately and timely
• Enter charges for procedures performed
• Support safe, timely supply processing and distribution of equipment
• Maintain close attention to detail related to:
• Patients
• Procedures
• Equipment and supplies
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required
