Respiratory Therapist RRT The Respiratory Therapist is under the general direction of the Director of Ancillary Services and Respiratory Care Supervisor. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the respiratory system by providing respiratory therapy to patients in accordance with specific physician orders and established standards and practices to patients of all ages and is a member of the multidisciplinary health care team. Requirements

  • Must have training/experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Must be a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with standards maintained, as recognized by the Iowa Department of Public Health
  • Must be familiar with multiple types/brands of respiratory therapy/diagnostic equipment with a strong desire to maintain competency and/or grow with state of the art knowledge
  • Experience working with computers
