What You’ll Do Coordinate all respiratory care activities during your shift, providing clinical education and supervisory support. Deliver orientation and competency assessments for new employees. Provide clinical support in critical areas, including cardiac arrest response and the Emergency Room. Participate in hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions for staff. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards. Offer in-service education to staff and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. Perform all therapies and procedures as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Applied Science Respiratory Therapy (AMA-approved).
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.
  • Current NYS Respiratory Therapy License.
  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Current BCLS Certification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy.
