About The Position

As a Respite Professional, you will provide in-home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and create a safe and engaging environment. Your work will allow families the opportunity to take a well-deserved break while ensuring their loved ones receive quality care and companionship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Have previous experience in caregiving, respite care, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Engaging individuals in recreational and social activities to promote community inclusion.
• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care.
• Communicating effectively with families and caregivers about progress and any concerns.
