About The Position

This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Are you compassionate, reliable and have great communication skills? Do you love helping people? Do you love working with youth and families? If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you!
Positions are for a variety of kiddos of age and gender. More details about kiddo are discussed during the interview!
Positions available
Hours vary from 8 hours a week to 30 hours
Pay ranges from $10-$17 an hour

If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.

Requirements

• Positive attitude, reliability, and hard-working candidates encouraged to apply!
• Flexible scheduling
• Must be willing to have background check completed
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with caregiving recommended but not required
• New applicants wanting to start respite are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Meal Prep/ Feeding tubes
• Housekeeping (tasks related only to member)
• Community outings (park/mall/movies)
• Arts and crafts
• Playing with kiddos
• Dressing kiddos as needed
• Transferring kiddos as needed
• Medications management
• Transportation as needed
