About The Position

Join the Hospitality Leadership Team at One of Central Ohio’s Premier Private Clubs. New Albany Country Club is seeking an emerging hospitality leader ready to take the next step from hourly service into salaried restaurant management. This position is ideal for experienced servers, bartenders, supervisors, or lead staff who are ready to advance their careers and gain well-rounded management experience in a premier private club. As a Food & Beverage Manager Tournant, you will train and lead teams across six distinct dining outlets, gaining hands-on leadership experience in a variety of service styles—from casual poolside dining to upscale clubhouse service and large-scale member events. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server, bartender, lead, or supervisor in a high-quality hospitality environment
  • Strong interest in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced service environment
  • 2–5 years of food & beverage experience preferred
  • Food safety knowledge with ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • AED/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multi-outlet restaurants, hotels, or private clubs is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead manager for dining outlets during peak club season (Memorial Day – Labor Day)
  • Assist with training and onboarding seasonal staff in the Sports Café, Adult Pool, and Men’s Grill
  • Support Club events, banquets, and off-site catering operations, especially during the busy holiday event season
  • Act as a relief and support manager across all dining outlets as operational needs require
  • Manage bar and beverage ordering and inventory (excluding wine)
  • Help lead service teams for major member events and club functions
  • Train, coach, and guide front-of-house staff while partnering with outlet chefs
  • Maintain knowledge of all service standards across each dining outlet
  • Ensure teams follow health, safety, and hospitality standards
  • Utilize Club operational systems, including POS systems, requisition processes, and beverage management systems
