Requirements

Minimum of High School education
Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Team player
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations

Nice To Haves

Certification in bartending preferred
Alcohol awareness certification preferred

Responsibilities

Displays thorough understanding of venue’s menu, specials, promotions, operations, layout, hours, location and area attractions.
Follows company policies, procedures and programs.
Responsible for daily restaurant operations.
Directly supervising hosts, servers, bartenders, bar backs and bussers.
Follows the employment process for all hourly associates, including training, corrective measures & disciplining.
Assists in the training and development of all hourly associates. Works closely with all managers to identify needs and provide appropriate training to associates with management and supervisory potential.
Maintains close contact with the Restaurant General Manager, to keep abreast of planned functions, room occupancy, maintenance needs and problems, and to coordinate activities.
Maintains customer first mentality by ensuring quality of service, food, beverage, ambiance and atmosphere; resolves customer complaints.
Opens and Closes out associates and ensures associates are preforming opening and closing duties at the end of the shift. Also approves associates closing checkouts for accuracy.
Inspect restaurant daily to ensure that housekeeping, sanitation, security and safety standards are met.
Reports all repairs or recommends repairs to the Restaurant GM.
Directs and assigns restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
Perform various other duties as assigned
