Performs restorative nursing services in accordance with care plans and facility policies and procedures. These services may include activities related to range of motion, bed mobility, transfers/walking, dressing/grooming, easting/swallowing, toileting and communication. Coordinates meals and nutritional supplements at assigned times and as requested. Staff will provide assistance as needed, documents degree of assistance required and intake accordingly. Assists with resident's appropriate use of adaptive equipment (prosthesis, foot pedals, etc.) Assists nursing staff with toileting, bowel and bladder retraining including continence diary, formulation of scheduled toileting and documentation accordingly. Documents all activities daily to indicate the restorative nursing task was done. Documents the progress of each resident and reports changes in a resident's condition to the MDS Coordinator. Attends meetings as required including team meetings and required training include Relias. Care plan meetings and QAPI as applicable or assigned by supervisor. Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures. Complies with standards of business conduct, and state/federal regulations and guidelines. Reports noncompliance with policies, procedures, regulations or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel. May be assigned other duties as appropriate.
