154 RETAIL - CLEANING CREW AND MAINTENANCE
About The Position
The individuals selected for this position are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility in excellent conditions for all associates and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Knows and actively demonstrates, daily, our Company Mission Statement and our Core Values Efficiently carrying out all the directives given by Management Team (sense of urgency) Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming Clean windows and mirrors Clean, disinfect, and supply restrooms Remove waste and empty trash Routing 2hr disinfecting and sterilizing all facility Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies Organize janitorial storage areas Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance Handle basic maintenance building repairs and other janitorial work Practices teamwork and cooperation with coworkers Seeks to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivity Undertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detail Working in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA Attendance and Timeliness is required. Requirements
- State law says you must be over the age of 21 to work at Specs

- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus

- Self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools
- Ability to use a industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Open availability, nights and weekends required
- Responsible for store cleaning and light maintenance such as but not limited to changing light bulbs
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of Janitorial experience
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
