About The Position

Federated Co-ops, Inc. is hiring for a Retail Counter Sales person to work out of our Mora Country Store! As a Retail Counter Sales person, you will be responsible for assisting customers of the Country Store with product selection and purchasing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Retail Counter Sales person include the following. Other duties may be assigned Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise. Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise. Check out customer at register. Accepts payment and makes change. Wraps or bags and carries merchandise for customers. Completes general housekeeping duties in country store. Reports to store management with complaints, concerns or questions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to meet, greet and follow up on customer inquiries and sales. As well as learn promote and sell all store products and services including but not limited to trailers, feed, power equipment, ATVs and small engine repair services. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
