The Retail Lead plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Mint Cannabis’ dispensary. This position serves as the go-to resource for team members on the floor — ensuring compliance, maintaining flow, driving customer satisfaction, and assisting with leadership responsibilities. Requirements

1+ year of experience in cannabis, retail, or customer service.
1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication, training, and conflict-resolution skills.
Working knowledge of cannabis products, brands, and compliance guidelines.
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card per Missouri state law.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and valid government-issued ID.
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance.

Nice To Haves

1+ year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support daily dispensary operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Lead by example on the sales floor — greeting guests, answering questions, and verifying allotments.
Train, coach, and inspire Budtenders to deliver top-tier service and product knowledge.
Ensure accurate inventory management, compliance documentation, and display presentation.
Handle customer escalations with professionalism, empathy, and composure.
Operate the POS system, assist with cash handling, and maintain financial accuracy.
Communicate effectively with management to ensure smooth operations and goal alignment.
Uphold all company policies, procedures, and state cannabis regulations.
