The Retail Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for establishing, implementing and monitoring the Loss Prevention programs within their home store location and a group of assigned stores. The Retail Loss Prevention Supervisor will be accountable for meeting or exceeding targeted shrink goals and conducting investigations of both internal and external theft. The Retail Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for Loss Prevention training for store management, and the training and development of Loss Prevention Team Leads and Loss Prevention Team Members within their assigned locations. Responsible for training of both new and existing Loss Prevention Team Leads and Inventory Control Coordinators. Provide supervision and leadership to all Loss Prevention and Inventory Control team members. Partner with Store and Regional Loss Prevention Manager on methods to meet or exceed budgeted targets for shrink. Responsible for taking an active part in the store’s safety program and continuously partner with Store Management on ways to improve overall store safety and security. Detect and investigate both external and internal theft through exception based reporting, shrink reporting, etc. and bring cases to a successful resolution. Able to conduct appropriate Loss Prevention investigations related to customer and Team Member incidents. Subject matter expert on the store’s physical security, alarm and fire systems as well as CCTV. Conduct Loss Prevention training for store management on topics to include but not limited to physical security, shrink mitigation, customer injury reports, incident response and theft awareness. Subject matter expert on day to day operation of the store inventory programs. Partner with Store Management and Inventory Control to conduct accurate and detailed store inventory counts. Oversee and ensure completion of store compliance audits related to company policies, procedures and initiatives. Responsible to Teach, Train, Coach and Mentor their team to ensure consistent and best in class execution. Partner with the store team to monitor return policies, cash over/shorts, and any customer service shortfalls. Responsible to conduct themselves in a manner that best reflects the values of Fleet Farm and create a positive attitude among store team members. Other Duties and Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned or required. Required to work both before and after normal store hours as required. Must be capable of executing Fleet Farm, State and Federal procedures for firearm sales. Model cross functional teamwork and communication across their store. Maintains case documentation and investigative reports with clear and concise detail. Projects as assigned including project documentation and tracking of project goals. Nature of Supervision: Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision Planning and Problem Solving: Use logic, experience and analytics to accomplish business and personal goals. Work collaboratively with the Store Manager to be active participants in developing solutions. Supervisory Responsibility: Will supervise up to 4 FT Team Leads as in-direct reports and as many as 10 part and full time in-direct reports.
