Requirements

  • Must either be registered as a pharmacy technician or licensed as a pharmacy intern

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process prescriptions: Input new orders, manage refills/transfers, verify insurance
  • Prepare medications: Count, package, and organize prescriptions for pharmacist verification
  • Assist patients: Collect information, provide basic medication guidance under supervision
  • Support operations: Maintain pharmacy organization, assist with inventory management
  • Handle administrative tasks: Answer phones, manage records, schedule appointments
  • Develop professionally: Participate in training, build medication knowledge
  • Utilize pharmacy technology: Operate dispensing software and equipment
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.
