Requirements
- Must either be registered as a pharmacy technician or licensed as a pharmacy intern
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions: Input new orders, manage refills/transfers, verify insurance
- Prepare medications: Count, package, and organize prescriptions for pharmacist verification
- Assist patients: Collect information, provide basic medication guidance under supervision
- Support operations: Maintain pharmacy organization, assist with inventory management
- Handle administrative tasks: Answer phones, manage records, schedule appointments
- Develop professionally: Participate in training, build medication knowledge
- Utilize pharmacy technology: Operate dispensing software and equipment
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.
