About The Position

Under the direction of the Pharmacist, this position will assist with the process of preparing, dispensing, and monitoring medications as prescribed and ordered by a licensed provider and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Must promote teamwork and be a role model to others. This position is a non-benefited part-time role, totaling 10-15 hours per week initially, with the option to increase to full time hours by June. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.

Requirements

• High School grad or equivalent
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and be a self-starter
• Proficient computer and cash register skills
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy or obtained within first 30 days

Nice To Haves

• Previous Retail experience preferred
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred and/or required within 12 months of date of hire
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience, in a retail setting preferred
