Under the direction of the Director of Retention, the Retention Coordinator uses appropriate project and reporting standards, designs and manages assigned projects for Cook County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) employees. The Retention Coordinator creates and executes project work plans and revises them based upon changing needs and requirements; manages day-to-day operational aspects of various projects and their scopes. The Retention Coordinator ensures that deliverables are prepared timely by appropriate team members. The Retention Coordinator effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards as well as prepares for and completes engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. The Retention Coordinator minimizes exposure to risk and liability on projects and ensures project documents are complete, current, and retained/stored appropriately.
