About The Position

KBP Brands is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will reconcile point of sale (POS) deposits and cash/receivables across our brands — KFC, Taco Bell, Arby’s, and Sonic — ensuring revenue is captured completely and accurately each period. You’ll work directly with field leadership to answer deposit questions, reconcile store deposits, provide reporting insights, and support training on KBP’s reporting tools. This role partners closely with Accounting, Operations, and Treasury and is ideal for a self-starter who communicates effectively, understands process improvement, and thrives in a detail-driven environment. Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology in performing job duties, including Microsoft Excel as well as applicable accounting software
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships and communicate clearly and effectively with people in financial and non-financial roles
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with a strong attention to details

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with revenue reconciliations or Workday software – preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile sales and cash receipts for all brands on a daily, period, quarterly and annual basis from various sources – store deposits
  • Ensure completeness of revenue is recorded for all Brands
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve reconciling items, transaction errors, and other discrepancies as well as inquiries from the field in a timely and efficient manner
  • Compile and distribute cash verification reports – on daily and period basis.
  • Regularly review the cash verification reports for stores with cash loss issues and reporting irregularities.
  • Recommend process improvements to accommodate changing business needs and support revenue activities
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and other duties as assigned
