About The Position

The role of the Revenue Marketing Strategist involves driving essential business outcomes for critical programs within the organization for our Employee Training business. They will work on complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring their programs and campaigns to life. They act as a champion for their programs, fostering strong alignment and relationships to achieve unified success.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of previous experience in demand generation marketing or a related marketing role is highly desirable.
  • A strong foundation in marketing principles, project management, and branding are essential for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in successfully managing marketing projects and campaigns from planning to execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are important for crafting persuasive product content, creating presentations, and engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in delivering presentations to internal teams, clients, and prospects.
  • Previous involvement in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote products and generate leads.

  • Having a good understanding of the D2L products, corporate learning, and education markets is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign & Event Planning: Support in the development of purposeful, well-thought-out campaigns that support account-based marketing and selling efforts to drive pipeline and brand awareness. Partner with functional areas to plan and execute on strategy and tactical plans.
  • Project Management: Coordinating and managing project expectations and execution. Communicate on-going progress, issues, risks, and overall performance to all stakeholders. Risk and Change Management planning, mitigation, and controls.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for managing the budget allocated for vertical programs and campaigns, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and resources to effectively support success of campaigns and programs.
  • Track and report: Monitor and optimize tactical performance at every stage of the journey to ensure content/messaging is resonating. Identify how we can improve and bring your expertise to the table: How can we make it even better?
  • Travel as required (less than 10%)
