RF Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to testing Radio Frequency ( RF ) and other communication devices that need to be protected from cyber attacks. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to help our client test and secure these devices from cyber threats by identifying attack vectors and using their RF experience to create test plans to ensure system functionality and security. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the cyber security landscape. Our team tests and deploys cyber security solutions to protect against all types of attacks, including those that exploit RF vulnerabilities. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a solid background in RF engineering and radio technology, as well as knowledge of cyber attacks and vulnerabilities, to help us design and develop cyber solutions and test plans while working with common RF equipment such as spectrum and network analyzers, anechoic chambers, and MIL-STD-1553. On our team, you’ll design and perform analysis on various radio and encryption devices, with a cyber security lens. You’ll lead the discovery and characterization of waveform stress points by analyzing data link performance in high interference and contested spectral environments. We’ll look to you to apply systems-level expertise in wireless network data links to evaluate how RF-layer degradations propagate through the protocol stack and share your expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff.
