About The Position

Clair Global is growing and is looking for an RF Supervisor to join their ranks of skilled warehouse associates. The RF Supervisor assumes primary responsibility for supervising the day to day activities of the RF technicians, as well as work with them to prepare wireless equipment per client or operations coordinator specifications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare wireless equipment per client or operations coordinator specifications within the scope of Clair's mission and core values Perform basic repairs to transmitters, receivers, microphones, cables, headsets, and antennas (cosmetic/missing parts) to return equipment to the shop in "like new" condition QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

Requirements

  • General understanding of Microsoft Office and ERP systems with a willingness to improve knowledge base moving forward
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing, in person, and over the phone so others will understand
  • Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions
  • Tech savvy with a genuine interest in learning new technologies
  • Willingness to accept all jobs assigned
  • Passion for electronics and the audio industry
  • Willingness to lead RF department techs to complete tasks while refining and improving daily operations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and inspect electronics racks per specification
  • Prepare, Check equipment in and out of inventory using a bar code scanner for transfers and projects
  • Keep inventory up to date. Cycle count gear regularly to ensure inventory is accurate for availability within the shop
  • Perform firmware updates and tests equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Test coax cable and antennas using a Spectrum Analyzer/Tracking Generator
  • Monitor ERP system for inventory availability and communicate system needs within department and to other departments and locations
  • Contribute to informing other shops of standards and gear updates by utilizing the Clair Forum website and keep documentation up to date with the Clair Global Database
  • Contribute to training new employees and road staff when applicable. (RITs)
  • Submit requisitions for gear to be purchased in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule for the high demands of projects
  • Assist and encourage RF the department team as a whole to work overtime when extra hours are warranted to complete assignments to meet deadlines of projects.
  • Take support calls about gear that has been deployed and trouble shoot issues from employees in the field
  • Assist shop in regards to shop labor and any other task asked
