Who we are looking for Ricardo is seeking the next generation of highly motivated engineers who are eager to build a career alongside their studies in engineering. You will apply your specialist skills in mechanical, automotive, mechatronic, controls, electrical, software, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering to help our clients solve complex technical challenges and deliver innovative, commercially viable solutions. You will gain exposure to a wide range of market sectors, including passenger cars, heavy‑duty and commercial vehicles, marine, off‑highway, defense, and aerospace. During the Co-op Program you will be assigned to one of our core engineering capability teams: Design, Systems, Control, or Electrical Engineering. Where client programs allow, you will have opportunities to rotate across multiple teams, enabling broad technical growth and developing deep insight into consultancy delivery across our business. We welcome candidates with a strong interest in engineering consulting and a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, Robotic, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Software-related).

Requirements

  • A strong interest in engineering consulting
  • A relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, Robotic, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Software-related).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access advantageous).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A major in one of the core engineering disciplines, complemented by a minor or concentration such as: Minor in another engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical with a Mechanical minor, or Robotics with a Software minor), or concentration in areas such as Power Electronics or Chassis Design.
  • Business, Economics, or Finance
  • Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
  • Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering
  • This major-minor combination enables students to bring both deep technical capability and broader commercial, analytical, or systems-thinking skills that are valuable in a consulting environment.
  • An interest in mechanical or electrical engineering hobbies such as motorsport, restoration projects, Formula Student, or similar hands-on technical activities.
