About The Position

As the Risk Management & Insurance Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:   Be responsible for supporting implementation of the company's various insurance programs. Ensure Black and Veatch projects are properly insured in compliance with the terms of the contract Serve as a trusted business advisor to management related to project insurance Provide resolution of intermediate to complex issues Works under minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field, or relevant experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bachelors degree in Business or Economics
  • Hold a Risk Management Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Supports projects by requesting insurance quotes from brokers
  • Provides guidance regarding appropriate insurance terms and provisions
  • Assist with placement of Global Corporate Insurance program
  • Prepares and processes insurance invoices
  • May assist with review of policies and procedures
  • May assist with knowledge transfer and training for staff, as assigned
  • Individual contributor with no subordinates
