About The Position
Health Ministries Clinic (HMC) is seeking a mission-driven Registered Medical Assistant/ Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Newton, KS. What You'll Do Promptly room patients and collect vital signs, including weight, temperature, and blood pressure, along with other required information. Accurately enter patient data and clinical information into the Electronic Health Record. Accurately scan a variety of documents into the system Answer phone calls from patients, physicians, and facilities regarding clinical matters. Send medical transcriptions to referring providers via fax or mail, as needed. Assist in maintaining up-to-date medication sample stock and supplies. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Current Kansas Medical Assistant Certification (RMA and CMA) required.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy Experience (preferred)
- 1-year ambulatory health care experience preferred.
