CVT RN opportunity in Electrophysiology Lab at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma Center in Roanoke, Virginia. It is located in the newly built Crystal Springs Tower. The Crystal Springs Tower is a 400,000-square-foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and is the home of our Cardiovascular Institute and an expanded Emergency Department. What we do: Some of the complex therapies/treatments performed include: · Procedures: Pacemaker, ICD Defibrillator, leadless pacemaker, subcutaneous ICD, CRRT Device, Implantable loop recorder, and Cardioversion · EP Studes for Arrhythmias · Ablations: Atrial fibrillation and Ventricular Fibrillation ablation, PF ablation, and RF ablation · Treatments for Conditions: Arrhythmias, Atrial fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia, and Ventricular Fibrillation #Crystalspringtower #CVI
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Critical care experience preferred.
- Must have valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Virginia.
- Must have and maintain current AHA BLS-HCP certification.
- Must successfully complete AHAACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills required.
- Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
- Successful completion of cardiac monitoring course required.
