About The Position
Position Summary: The ICU registered nurse provides direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the ICU units. The registered nurse is supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and who collaboratively maintains plan of care for vulnerable patients.
Requirements
- All External Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current California RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
- NIHSS and initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire
- One year recent ICU/Critical Care or two years Telemetry Experience in an acute care facility
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
