RN/LPN Private Duty Nurses

Immediate Need for Private Duty Registered Nurses (RN) & Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in the Louisville KY area. Full and Part time shifts for Days, Nights, Overnights (3rd shift) & Weekends Available for RNs & LPNs. Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Kentucky
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required with bedside care preferred
- Experience with g-tubes, trachs/vent and cath care preferred
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to commute/relocate: Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- CPR RN (Required)
- LPN (Required)
Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
- Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keeps the Nurse Manager and any other appropriate personnel informed
- Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and organization skills needed
