RN / LPN – Pediatric Private Duty Nursing 12-Hour Shifts | DAYS AND OVERNIGHTS Available | New Grads Welcome | Paid Training Family First Homecare (FFHC) is actively hiring compassionate, reliable RNs and LPNs to deliver high-quality, one-on-one pediatric nursing care in the home setting. Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in state of employment (Compact license accepted where applicable)
- New graduates welcome — training provided
- Valid CPR certification (in-person, instructor-led skills check)
- Knowledge of applicable Nurse Practice Acts
- Clear background screening
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (where applicable)
- TB screening (state-specific)
- Hepatitis B screening (state-specific)
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or homecare experience (not required)
- Background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse may be required based on role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care within scope of licensure (RN or LPN)
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Monitor patient status and evaluate response to care
- Report changes in condition to the physician and nurse supervisor
- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and medical needs
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities
- Support team members during patient-specific orientations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance standards
- Attend required trainings and in-services
- Communicate professionally with families, providers, and team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned
