About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and support patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions in a hospital setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a hospital setting required
- Active West Virginia RN License or Multistate (Compact) License required
- Associate Degree in Nursing ( ADN ) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA required
- Candidates must be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
