Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Registered Nurse: CA RN License
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS

- Min one year experience acute care
Responsibilities
- Provides Supervision for LVN's, Nurse Interns, Nurse Aides, Ward Clerks/Monitor Techs.
- Assesses patient/family/S.O. to identify patient care and educational needs within the time specified in hospital policy.
- Assessment includes biophysical, psychosocial, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs.
- Completes ongoing shift assessments on assigned patients in coordination with other team members.
- Assesses patient condition at the time of discharge/interfacility transfer.
- Completes discharge assessment including continuing care needs, referrals, and documentation of patient understanding.
