POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. The Registered Nurse provides care for mothers and children across the Mother Baby service line. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Desired: One year clinical experience in an acute Pediatric Unit One year working with children in a professional setting LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing. Current CPR recognition Current PALS recognition (within 1 month of hire) Current NRP recognition (within 6 months of hire) (current RN-Pediatric employees have until 6/30/20 to obtain) Desired: ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatrics Course) within one year of employment Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Current PALS certification Current NRP certification SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Requirements

  • Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Current CPR recognition
  • Current PALS recognition (within 1 month of hire)
  • Current NRP recognition (within 6 months of hire) (current RN-Pediatric employees have until 6/30/20 to obtain)
