Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Experience with airway emergencies, (i.e. laryngospasms, airway obstruction, stridor and arrest).
  • Graduate of ICU residency with a minimum of six months ICU experience.
  • Registered Nurse: WA (RN:WA) upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months
  • Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) perferred
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Of Nursing
  • One year of related work experience in an acute care setting
  • Minimum of 2 years current experience in an acute, inpatient PACU setting within the last 3 year
  • Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA)
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN)
