About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN ) to join our Community Staffing team! The position would be supporting an assisted living/memory care community in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul metro area. The RN will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of our senior residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric nursing and a passion for providing high-quality care to elderly individuals. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals! Hourly pay rate: $50-$60/hour Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday

Requirements

RN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
Current CPR/ BLS.
Previous experience in geriatric nursing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with senior residents.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Case Management for residents in an assisted living/ memory care facility including comprehensive health assessments, medication management and assisting DON with various documentation and reporting related to resident care.
Supervising CNA's/ PCA's on your shift
Provide health education to residents and their families on various topics such as disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Coordinate and communicate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for residents.
Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, following established protocols and providing immediate care as needed.
Work closely with the Director of Nursing, nursing staff, and other team members to maintain a cohesive and supportive care environment.
Foster open and transparent communication with residents, their families, and staff to promote a positive and collaborative care environment.
