About The Position

As a Clinic Float Pool RN, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care across multiple ambulatory departments, including primary care and specialty care areas. Float Pool nurses are deployed to departments that need immediate staffing support to help teams maintain seamless operations and uninterrupted patient care. Expect meaningful variety, flexibility, and learning across specialties. The Clinic Float Pool is a strong group of 30 RNs and 20 MAs that values connection, support, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • RN license to practice in Wisconsin upon hire
  • RN license to practice in Minnesota and Iowa within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • 6 months of previous nursing experience
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in multiple departments and adjusting to daily changes
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with teams

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care for diverse ambulatory patient populations
  • Help ensure patients receive exceptional care through phone triage, MyChart communication, medication refills, and occasional procedures
  • Adapt to daily department assignments based on organizational needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth daily operations
