Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse/RN role who would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the adult long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. Requirements
- Current MN RN license or by start date
- BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
- Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
Responsibilities
- Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
- Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- RN – Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
- Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided
