Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • CVICU and/or ICU experience highly preferred.
  • PALS certification (as determined by department).
  • NIH certification (as determined by department).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in CVICU.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to facilitate patient care.
  • Makes nursing assessments and diagnoses.
  • Formulates care plans based on the diagnosis.
  • Implements and evaluates the plan of care.
  • Floats to critical care units as needed.
