About The Position

The job oversees the regional occupational and employee health programs. Oversees programs aimed at prevention, maintenance, and restoration of employee health throughout the organization. Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • 3 years of experience.
  • Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
  • High competency in clinical practice, knowledgeable in the practice of occupational and employee health nursing.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance within the area of assignment, as well as federal and state guidelines.
  • Ability to organize, initiate, and monitor programs in area of assignment.
  • Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate initiative and integrity and work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with employee health leadership in planning, developing, implementing and evaluation the occupational, employee health programs.
  • Ensures the substance abuse program guidelines are followed as well as federal, state, and organizational standards.
  • Coordinates employee health programs pertaining to the onboarding process to include drugs screens, vaccinations, and WC.
  • Prepares performance evaluations and monitors time and attendance and payroll for the department.
  • Facilitates onboarding for new employees within department.
  • Remains up-to-date and compliant with OSHA standards and requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
