Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Current CPR certification (must remain active throughout employment)
- Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, long-term care standards, and SNF regulations
- Proven leadership and supervisory ability in a healthcare setting
- Ability to lift 60–70 lbs. frequently and remain on your feet during the shift
- Flexibility and commitment to meeting the needs of residents and families
- Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic medical records
- Excellent communication, follow-through, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor and build strong interpersonal relationships
Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend nursing staff to ensure consistent quality of care
- Serve as a clinical resource and support to staff, residents, and families
- Monitor compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
- Make independent nursing decisions and provide on-site leadership in urgent situations
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment across all departments
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and leadership
