Road Service Technician – Join Our Field Service Team! Are you a skilled technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and helping customers get back up and running? We’re looking for an experienced Road Service Technician to join our team and provide top-level service to our customers in the field. In this role, you’ll be the face of our service department — traveling to customer sites, diagnosing equipment issues, and delivering reliable repairs that keep operations moving. Requirements

  • CDL Class A or B License (Required)
  • 2+ years of heavy equipment service experience (skid steers, excavators, compact equipment, etc.)
  • Strong background in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
  • Self-motivated technician who can work independently in the field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple service calls and maintain a customer-first attitude
  • Be able to effectively communicate with customers.
  • This position is highly active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • Employees will frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.
  • Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Pre-Employment drug screens, background check & proof of employment eligibility (E-Verify) are required for any position offered

Responsibilities

  • Perform field diagnostics and repairs on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat product line
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems
  • Perform major repairs, rebuilds, and system overhauls
  • Perform welding when needed
  • Work closely with Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams to ensure excellent customer support
  • Represent our company professionally while delivering excellent customer service in the field
