Start, and shut down the automated bagging machinery including scales, baggers, sealers, conveyors, and palletizers to production schedules and specifications Monitor the automated process closely to ensure continuous, efficient, and accurate operation of the corn bagging line Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain optimal product flow, bag weight, and seal integrity Identify, diagnose, and resolve minor operational issues and malfunctions on the bagging line Report major mechanical or electrical issues to management Ensure continuous supply of empty bags, tags, and other packaging materials to the automated line Monitor corn product flow into the bagging system, addressing and blockages or inconsistencies  Complete accurate production logs, quality control records, and maintenance reports  Openness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving responsibilities and environments Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc
  • Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Respectable Mechanical Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record
  • Forklift Certified
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior automatic line experience
  • Previous Feed Experience
