About The Position

Valiant is looking for a Role Play Bus Driver to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates and maintains assigned motor vehicle ranging from 9-passenger van up to 44-passenger bus. Performs operator-level preventive maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicle. Completes and maintains required transportation logs and reports. Safely transports employees to and from work sites. Complies with local, state, and federal traffic and transportation laws. Complies with JRTC EXROE when transporting passengers in and through the Fort Polk training area. Performs duties as a JRTC Role Player when vehicle is used for JRTC training purposes. Routinely uses military forms and military maps. Frequently uses mobile radio communications. Length of work shift may extend up to 16 hours as required by the JRTC. Rotates shift work between both day or night shifts as required. All other duties as required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Louisiana Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
Experience as a passenger bus driver.
Must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed.
Must be able to speak clearly and calmly using radio communication systems
Must train and become proficient in military map reading including deciphering and encoding locations using the Military Grid Reference System
Must become proficient in military communications procedures including using the phonetic alphabet and understanding call signs, pro-words, and acronyms.
Must be capable of being instrumented with MILES or IPDD systems in accordance with the needs of the JRTC.
Must be able to work all shifts.
Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
Individual will be subject to initial and random drug screening while employed with Valiant.
Must be in good physical condition capable of prolonged sitting, standing, walking and driving.
Must be able to repeatedly lift heavy or bulky objects up to 50 LBS.
Must assist with passenger loading, baggage, and equipment loading/unloading.
