About The Position

As a Roofing Technician, you will meet customers at their homes to identify roofing defects and discuss repair/replacement solution options. You will diagnose the problem, provide recommendations and let the customer decide a course of action. The Roofing Technician provides the selected service, collects payment and ensures customer satisfaction. It is important to make certain that the customer experience meets and exceeds expectations set during the initial consultation. You will be expected to know how to install roofing products and materials, do minor repairs, maintain company vehicles and tools, participate in daily morning meetings, and be responsible for communicating the Honest Abe mission.

Requirements

• Construction / Roofing experience is REQUIRED
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to do minor repairs and help install roofing systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive team-player attitude
• Willingness to reliably commute/relocate to the Terre Haute, Indiana area

Responsibilities

• Visiting 1-3 customers per day
• Interacting with homeowners and team members
• Take photos before, during, and after repair
• Maintain company vehicles and tools
• Participate in regular morning meetings
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Experience communicating with both customers and employees
• Produce work that receives 5-Star customer reviews and future referrals
