Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and order accuracy.
  • Physical ability to carry trays and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Take and accurately record room service orders from guests via phone or electronic systems.
  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly, ensuring presentation and temperature meet quality standards.
  • Set up trays or tables in guest rooms according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
  • Handle guest requests and inquiries courteously, providing information about menu items and hotel services as needed.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service carts and equipment.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions when required.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations during food handling and delivery.
  • Report any guest concerns or special requests to management promptly to ensure resolution.
  • Handle arrangement and delivery of guest amenities.
