Rough Cut Operator - 2rd Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for operating the rough cut machinery, maintaining the machinery, keeping accurate documentation, and handling material. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operate the machinery (Waterjet/Combi-Cut, saw) as well as monitor and verify it is operating correctly at all times Perform quality checks as required Interpret blueprint drawings and sketches to plan. Responsible for set-up and operation of cutting machinery Perform all required documentation and organization for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified Responsible for the visual inspection of equipment with complex parts, preventative maintenance, as well as area upkeep and cleanliness Operate overhead crane and forklift Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Industrial work experience
- Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
- Basic computer skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Mechanically inclined is preferred
- Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred
- High attention to detail

- Capable of multitasking
- Work well both independently and with a team

- Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
- Lift up to 60 lbs.
- Push/pull 100 lbs.
- Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
