About The Position

Bamganie Pets Cremation Service is located in Lethbridge, a rural township 25km north-west of Geelong. Offering the highest standard of companion animal bereavement services, we operate our own crematorium and provide a dedicated collection service throughout Melbourne and Regional Victoria. We are seeking a trustworthy and compassionate Roving Operations Team Member to join us on a Full-Time Basis. This role is for someone who possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and can respectfully interact with pet owners and veterinary practice staff. You will have strong timekeeping practices and understand the importance of effective customer service delivery. We are seeking a team member who is capable of performing the following responsibilities:

Requirements

• Physical fitness and ability to lift 5-25kgs regularly
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Punctual and well presented
• Calm, compassionate & professional demeanour
• Self-management, including professionalism, loyalty, positive attitude & respect
• Effective communication & collaboration skills
• Commitment to following procedures and working under strict safety guidelines
• Desire to achieve business goals and contribute to team goals
• Able to work in a team and autonomously
• Hold a current Australian drivers license with ability to drive manual

Nice To Haves

• Forklift license advantageous
• General handyman/mechanical capabilities & knowledge
• Sound technological ability

Responsibilities

• Weekly scheduled driving runs
• Fill in for packagers & cremation team when required
• Heavy lifting involved
• Complete paperwork & identification checks accurately
• Basic site & yard maintenance
• Other duties required by Bamganie management
